My first post about our move!

Hey There!

This is my first BLOG!!

I have entered the blog world!! Didn't think I would EVER do this. The motivation was my friend Chelsea's blog, which I read all the time, AND because the Hubs and I are moving to ALASKAAAAAA.

We are getting more and more excited about it. It is hard because we are leaving good friends and family. We are looking forward to the adventure and the time together after four deployments.

Since I was raised in Saudi Arabia, the igloo is going to be an adjustment! My husband, Drew, was born in Maine, so he is claiming he can teach me all there is to know. 

All our stuff was pack up this past Tuesday, so we are camping out in our house and driving around seeing friends and family.

Last Wednesday was my grandmother's funeral. She was loved and I knew she loved us, still hard to let someone go. She lived for 91 years and had a stoke exactly one month and 2 days before her death. My dad, Aunt and Cousin were at her side. Drew left that night to go back to work. The day after, Thursday, I was still at the lake with family. I stayed to see Lisa, Noelle, Ryan and my parents for another night. Then....they were all packed to go to the beach and in the car. I was saying bye and I just couldn't leave Noelle saying, "Don't go Suing, Don't go."

 So I just jumped in the car and went to the beach for less than 24 hrs to spend more time with my dear family. So worth it! Lisa and I talked for 5 hours straight.

 I came back to Columbus Friday night for a great going away dinner for Drew and I. (of course I didn't take one picture!)

Ok, well I am gonna end this first blog.
