Mom and Dad's trip: Part II

While my parents were here we stopped by lilly and Peter Pomroy's house for a very nice breakfast.
The picture is of Lilly a few years ago.

Mom, Dad and Drew stopped at the hospital to see me but to also look at all the art work and cool stuff on display. The Native Alaskans make jakets out of whale and seal bladders and intestines. :)

We went down to  Potter Marsh. It  is a preserved marsh land that has a board walk.

Took a gondola up to the top of a ski mountain

At the top of the ski mountain, Alyeska. It was chili!

All the above pictures are from the top of Alyeska. Then we came down and ate at Double Musky. It was great!

Dad and I at Beluga Point..

Watching for whales

Our Family, Lee and Barbara!

Lee and Barbara took Mom and Dad out for a day while we worked.

Graves with houses on top of them from the Russian Orthodox Church

Reindeer at the Alaska State Fair

Massive pumpkins that Mom and Dad got to see at the Alaska State Fair.

We really enjoyed having Mom and Dad here at the first of September.  They are a lot of fun to show around and will just go with it!
