Leg Eleven and Twelve - Man, you are really wet, right now.

It has been raining for two days! Drew had to change the car battery in the pouring rain. We could tell it was about to die and we didn't want to do that on the Alaska highway. Yes, we made it to the ALCAN (Alaska Canadian hwy).
We left Edmonton yesterday and crossed over into British Columbia.
Mile "0" of the Alaska Hwy!

Beautiful views from the Alaska hwy. The views, we have been told, are going to become more and more exquisite . Drew said this reminds him of the road between Shin Pond and the north gate of Baxter State Park.

We stayed in Fort St. John last night. I was tired and moody. We had driven about 8 hours and it was the first time this trip, where I was tired of it. I, thankfully, don't feel like that today.
This is a pic from riding today. It has rained and rained. We picked a time to do this drive when a huge front is here and it's not moving, therefore causing a lot of rain.
We were planning on camping, too wet for that. We will be staying in a cabin instead. :)

Rhonda the Honda has reached 151,000 miles, and on her fourth battery!

Drew has driven basically the entire way. Thanks, Babe. He received this first ticket today. He asked me to take a picture of it and put it on the blog.
      There it is! Thanks Canada....NOT!!
