After our run from the flood, we have decided to take a hiatus in Edmonton. We will be here for several more days. After this stay, we start drives that will be about 8 hours until we get to Anchorage. We have five more legs ( 8 days total) until we are there. It's crazy! Drew and I were talking that in some ways we don't want this trip to end. We know reality will hit and it will hit HARD when this ends.
Today. we had a lazy morning! It was great! With the exception of taking the dogs out, we didn't leave the hotel until noon. It was nice to not have a drive ahead of us!
At noon, we found a river walk/park. We walked there and enjoyed the view.

It was a great walk and we wore the dogs out. Our goal was to go finish the movie, War World Z, that we had to leave last night, due to the dogs barking at the hotel! So we wore the dogs out, turned the TV up really loud, and gave the pups a little benadryl.
We told the three personel at the front desk, that we left them in the room and drugged them. One of the staff didn't know us, he thought we were talking about our kids! That was too funny.
They said that they would take the dogs to the front desk if anyone complained tonight about their barking. So we proceed to attempt his movie again. And....Success!! We were able to watch the WHOLE movie!! The staff at the hotel did not hear a peep out of them or any complaining about them!
Drew is currently glued to the TV watching the 5th game of the Stanley Cup Playoffs!
