Leg Fifteen--Final drive!!!

We did it!! Today we drive 6 hours from Tok to Anchorage, Ak. It seemed like the longest drive, but it wasn't even close to it! We did have seem the best views today!
The pics don't do this justice.
......And this is the name of a creek in Alaska! Lol

First time seeing a glacier!!!

A total of 6,000 miles, 15 different legs in 20 days!! We have arrived!  We are close to Anchorage, at Joint Base Elmidorf Richardson. We have military temporary housing for 8 days. In that time,  we will find a place to live. Not sure if it will be on post or off post. If we choose off post, it will probably be Eagle River, Ak.

So it's true, it doesn't get completely dark. It gets to about where you would start thinking to turn on your headlights at about 1am to 3am. Then it progressively gets brighter from there.
The weather has been 60-70's during the day and 50's at night.

Tomorrow, we will pick up Drew's truck which has been in Anchorage for about 2.5 weeks. Our stuff has been here since the 6th of June. The army will keep it in storage up to three months for no charge. We will get it even we find a place.
